From property management to development to construction to asset management, we do affordable housing the way Jack Wallick would, responsibly and with care.

In fact, that’s the whole reason Jack formed Wallick Construction Company in 1966. He cared enough to take on the liabilities and abandoned contracts of a defunct, out-of-state contractor, even though he wasn’t obligated to.

Together with his business partner Sandy Goldston, they fulfilled each and every one of those commitments. Along the way, they restored trust, established a foundation of integrity, and left a legacy we work hard to live up to—and even surpass.

Although Jack and Sandy are now gone, their ideals haven’t gone anywhere. We’re still in the business of changing the world for low-income families and seniors, and we still believe:

Today, Jack’s children Howard Wallick and Julie Wallick, along with CEO Tom Feusse and a highly experienced executive team, lead Wallick Communities. Under their leadership, we’ve become one of the nation’s most respected and trusted affordable housing and senior living real estate firms.

Wallick has 2,600 units in 12 communities under management

1986

Wallick builds Waterford, Columbus’ first residential downtown high-rise

1989

Wallick develops Indian Mound Apartments, the first Fannie Mae tax credit community in the country

1995

Founder Jack Wallick passes away, Sandy Goldston becomes CEO

2006

Julie Wallick and Howard Wallick acquire majority interest. Tom Feusse hired as CEO; new senior management team put into place.

2008

Wallick manages 8,000 units in 110 communities, both for its own portfolio and for third-party owners
