Today we are the largest manager of affordable multi-family housing in Ohio and one of the largest residential property management firms in Midwest. We manage more than 150 multi-family communities consisting of over 11,000 apartment units in seven states — Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.
Our management portfolio includes properties owned and developed by affiliates as well as properties owned and developed by other non-affiliated organizations — fee managed properties. It is our strong reputation that has allowed us to use our skills to manage others’ properties.
As our portfolio continues to expand, we keep pace by implementing new systems and techniques and by adding experienced personnel essential to maintaining the required high level of management control. The staff includes: Corporate Maintenance Coordinator, Director of Food Service, Certified Apartment Managers and Certified Public Accountants, as well as specialists in all phases of property management. We are proud to have earned the prestigious Accredited Management Organization designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Senior Housing
We also manage more than 40 communities for senior adults. These communities offer outstanding amenities and are made affordable through Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) as well as HUD 202 and Section 8 subsidies. Additionally, our Senior Housing Division provides a full range of personalized services for residents needing assistance with daily living activities at our four Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Communities.
We work closely with our non-profit partners and owners to help them meet their housing goals, so they can concentrate on their organizations’ objectives. Through these partnerships, we provide exceptional housing and services to residents while meeting the owner’s goals.
Our Property Management Team
Our maintenance coordination personnel have a strong background in maintenance, property rehabilitation and construction, which allows us to provide communities with consistent, high quality maintenance through innovative and cost effective solutions and preventive maintenance programs.
Using a network of home-office and community-based systems, financial information, including accounts payable, resident accounting, financial statement reports, cost accounting, payroll, purchase orders and more, is processed on a continuing, real-time basis.
We work with our partners to prepare annual budgets. All financial statements and budgets are monitored monthly and reported to owners. Through these systems, we are able to provide current and complete information to owners on the performance of their assets.
